Jott: Voice to Text 2.0 Tool

So today I’m playing with Jott, a voice to text tool for use with cell phones and internet applications. The most basic of users would use this tool to phone in, record a reminder for themselves, and arrive at their desk with said note on their Jott to-do list.  Another application would be to call in to Jott, record a message, then send the message to another cell phone as a text message; handy when one is driving in a car.

Jott works with many 2.0 applications: remember the milk, twitter, amazon, blogger, Google calendar and more!

Jott Express is a download-able tool for use with your jott notes.  It’s smiler to the “To-Do” list on Lotus notes but sinks with Jott online.

In closing, this sounds pretty cool but I hardly can think of a reason that I would need it.  I sit at a desk all day, have ready access to facebook, twitter, amazon, lotus notes (where I keep my to-do list) and prefer to keep my personal schedule in my moleskin notebook which lives in my purse.

Please, however, let me know if you have used this service and how it has served you.

Cheers!
